The essentials

Recovery equipment depends on the vehicle, its weight, transmission and wheel condition. A car that cannot roll, a locked gearbox or a low parking entrance needs to be flagged before the professional sets off. Add a destination if you know it; you can start the request before choosing one.

Information to prepare

  • State manual or automatic transmission, electric or hybrid power.
  • Flag locked wheels, low ground clearance or visible damage.
  • Provide parking height clearance and entrance details.
  • Add the workshop or destination if known.

What to watch for

The recovery method must follow your model’s manual. Do not arrange an improvised rope tow or force a locked gearbox while waiting for the professional.

Availability and arrival time depend on professionals in your area, site access and required equipment. Confirm these when arranging assistance.

Do I need to know the destination garage?

Start by describing the breakdown and your location. If towing is needed, add the destination when you know it.

What if there is immediate danger?

Move to a safe place without exposing yourself to traffic and contact the relevant emergency services. On a concession motorway, contact ADM on 5050 and follow their instructions. Daba does not replace emergency services.
