Start with safety
Use hazard lights and reach a safe place if the car can still be moved without danger. Avoid repairs where you are exposed to traffic. In case of injury, fire or immediate danger, contact emergency services before a recovery platform. On a motorway, report the incident to its operator and follow the instructions.
Describe facts instead of guessing the cause
The car will not start, a tyre is flat or a message appears: those observations are enough to begin. Do not force another starting attempt if the manual says to stop. Prepare the make, model, powertrain and access constraints. A photograph may help if taken safely, but it does not establish a diagnosis.
Open your request on Daba
From a safe place, open Daba and enter your need and the car’s location. Add a landmark and destination if known; you can begin without a destination. Confirm the possible service and agreed price with the provider. If using insurance assistance, first ask which approval conditions apply.
Overheating in traffic
If a temperature warning appears, follow the vehicle’s stop instruction and reach a safe position without exposing yourself to traffic. Do not open the cooling-system cap when hot: heat and pressure can cause burns. Describe the warning and circumstances to the professional; do not continue just because a workshop appears nearby.
Burning smell: describe it without guessing
A burning smell does not allow a remote distinction between an electrical, mechanical or other cause. Report when it started, any warning lights and whether there is smoke. With smoke or flames, prioritise getting to safety and calling emergency services.
