Contact ADM on 5050

On the ADM network, 5050 is the official contact for reporting a breakdown or accident and requesting assistance. Give your direction of travel, a visible kilometre marker and the problem. Follow the operator’s instructions: a Daba request does not replace reporting the incident to the motorway operator.

Avoid exposure to moving traffic

Use hazard lights and move out of the traffic lanes if the vehicle can still be moved safely. Do not attempt repairs beside fast-moving traffic. Leave through the side away from traffic only if it is safe to exit, and follow ADM’s advice on where to wait. Do not walk into the carriageway to place equipment.

Clarify the recovery arrangements

Ask which provider is being sent, where the vehicle can be taken and what charging conditions apply. If you have insurance assistance, contact it for the procedure and required documents. Keep the messages and invoice. Coverage depends on your policy and cannot be assumed from the insurer’s name alone.
