Colour alone is not a diagnosis

Note the symbol, displayed text and when the light appears. Its meaning depends on the model: a light during start-up may be part of a normal check, while one that remains on requires consulting the manual. Colour alone cannot establish that it is safe to continue driving.

Follow a stop instruction

A STOP instruction, loss of braking, abnormal temperature or unusual smell means safety takes priority. Slow down without abrupt manoeuvres and look for a safe place to stop. Follow the manual, including instructions about switching off the engine. Do not open a hot cooling system or try to clear the light merely to continue the trip.

Share what you observed

From a safe place, take a dashboard photo if possible without publicly sharing personal details. In Daba, describe the exact message, how the car behaved and when it appeared. Include the powertrain and transmission type. This helps plan equipment, but diagnosing the mechanical fault requires checking the vehicle.
